Hi, I’m Jean-Maurice — a full-stack developer, algorithmic trader, and entrepreneur based in Quebec City. I’m the founder of PineBlocks, a visual tool that empowers traders without coding experience to turn their ideas into fully functional TradingView scripts.
I created Pineblocks.io to help traders build real TradingView strategies without writing a single line of code. No gimmicks. No fake AI. Just a visual tool that helps you think in logic and build strategies you can test, run, and improve.
I didn’t get into coding through a bootcamp or a CS degree. I got into it because I wanted to trade better. Like many traders-turned-devs, I bounced between platforms looking for the right setup for backtesting and strategy research. Some tools were decent, but none gave me the freedom or flexibility I wanted — too many constraints, too little control, or just not built for scale. Eventually, I hit a wall. So I took a sabbatical and built my own.
Client: An entrepreneur launching two very different businesses simultaneously — one product-based, one service-based. Users: 10+. Mandate: Build lightweight automation and optimize operations to support rapid business growth with minimal overhead.
Tech Stack: Angular, .NET Core (Vertical Slice Architecture), SQL Server. Client: A B2B & B2C product supplier and installer, expanding into SaaS and manufacturing. Users: 100+ across multiple partner businesses.
